Welcome
The Portuguese Association of Information Systems (APSI) and the School of Accounting and Administration / Polytechnic of Oporto (ISCAP/IPP) are pleased to invite you to the 16th edition of CAPSI to be held in Porto from 22nd to 24th September 2016. Since 2012, APSI is the Portuguese Chapter of Association for Information Systems (PTAIS).
The conference's main theme this year is "Information Systems Innovation and Competitiveness". We hope to arouse the interest of the academic and business communities for the presentation and discussion of works that reflect what has been done in these areas, especially in Portugal and in the Portuguese-speaking countries.
Being CAPSI an event originally aimed for work, we will be promoting several sessions of paper and poster presentations. The event will also comprise some Workshops. Our aim is to share the results of the work developed in the Academia and in the business world.
We also seek to promote a closer relationship with the business community by running a Forum focused on the main theme of the conference, which will feature the participation of guest speakers of recognised merit.
The success of CAPSI will depend on your participation, so we wait for you at Oporto in 2016!
